A Little More About Me
I grew up in the great city of Blanchard, Michigan; a beautiful area between one corn field and another corn field. We probably had a population of about 3,000 people and that’s including the cows. In my backyard, we had a busted up barn that I forced my parents to renovate into a functioning house for my ducks, chickens, pigs, sheep, rabbits, and a goat named Benny. For the most part, I enjoyed growing up in the middle of nowhere, but I knew I would outgrow it.
I was always interested in creating things. In first grade, I made my first underground newspaper. I would draw out images and write weekly stories based on the classroom happenings. I would then send the product to my printing press (my friend’s mom’s printer) to mass produce. We eventually had to suspend operations because my friend’s mother started to question where all of her printer ink was going. In third grade, I became a little more business-savvy. I learned how to draw a fish in under a minute and began my mass-produced art company. I would sell these pieces for 50 cents each. My business was booming until this random jerk named Logan bought one and printed 20 copies to sell. Frankly, I should’ve sued him for copyright, but I didn’t consider it at the time and I’m pretty sure the statute of limitations is up in that case.
As I got older, I developed a passion for performing and entertaining. I absolutely love to make people laugh. I would do this in any way I could, from making Youtube videos, to performing in my school talent shows, to playing roles in my college’s theater club. I began studying journalism, broadcasting, and digital media because of this passion. I enjoy being able to produce content that entertains people. My goal is to host my own show where I can combine my creativity and sense of humor. I’m really hoping this works out for me, because I still owe my friend’s mom for her printer ink.
