“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”

In my freshman year of college, I auditioned for a role in the theater club’s stage production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” I was cast as Charlie’s father, Mr. Bucket. This was my first college theater production, which led to me being cast in future productions.

“Yikes!”

I was asked to take part in two simultaneous productions for a local show called “Yikes!” This production was a compilation of student-directed horror/comedy projects where I played the lead role in two of the five productions. In one, I played the clueless victim of a murderous cult. In the other, I played a douchey frat bro in a spoof of “The Ring.”

“My Big Gay Italian Wedding”

This was the most out-of-the-box production I have been a part of. This play was a spoof of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and featured two gay characters who were trying to have a wedding despite the complications that came from their families. In this play, I played Rodney, the lead role’s close friend. In the second act of this play, my character appeared in full drag pretending to be the lead character’s mother. This was one of the funniest roles I have had the opportunity to play.
